Phildas is a drummer/percussionist, disciple of Master Drummer Phil Collins. Originaly from Switzerland but resident in London UK, has played drums since 1990 and has a lot of experience live and studio. Played with various bands over the years covering most styles. Speciality and preference is for Progressive Rock, Progressive Metal, Rock, quality Pop, and Jazz-Funk-fusion. Odd time signatures a speciality! Founded Invisible Touch, a well known London based Genesis tribute band in the mid 90′s, as well as depping for 2 other Genesis tribs at times.
Phildas was also a Guiness World Of Records holder in 2001 for the longest non stop drumathon, achieved for the UK charity Children In Need, although it has been well beaten by now…Should Phildas try to re-claim it?
Phildas is also an adept of Hindu Martial arts (Kalarippayatt and Shastar Vidiya) as well as Yoga and is a Sannyasin follower of Sanatana Dharma (Hinduism). Currently playing with Genesis Tribute INVISIBLE TOUCH, THE TELL 2012, FRANCK CARDUCCI and doing deps.
